EDL TORQUE TRANSDUCER - TORQUE MEASURING SHAFT - TORQUE SENSOR

The dual-range EDL torque sensor is ideally suited as a test bench sensor. Thanks to the special design, two measuring ranges can be measured synchronously without switching: Both the peak torque and the operating torque are recorded with high accuracy.
The 100 % overload protection of the large measuring range offers additional protection against short-term overloads.

The non-contact transmission of supply voltage and measuring signal enables low-loss and maintenance-free continuous operation.

The integrated measuring amplifier provides an analogue, galvanically isolated output signal of 0 to ±10 V per measuring range at a voltage of 12 V DC.

The advantages of this sensor are the high torque bandwidth and the reduction in changeover time and costs.

Area of application

Series EDL torque transducers are suitable for lab and industrial applications because of their small size and multiple mounting options. As supply voltage and output signal are transmitted without contact, the device can operate continuously with low wear and no maintenance. This transducer is predestined for measurements on electric motors, friction measurement on gearboxes, power measurement, generator testing and automated testing applications.
