Differential capsules

Differential Capsules

The differential capsule measures the pressure outside the assembly with respect to the inside of the assembly.

For differential pressure cells, two membranes are connected to enable larger strokes. The measuring pressure is fed into the differential pressure cell through a pressure connection. The height of the differential pressure cell changes with the pressure difference between internal and external pressure. We manufacture differential pressure gauges from CuBe2, 1.4435 and 1.4571 in various diameters. Other materials and diameters are available on request. We manufacture customer-specific connections on request at reasonable prices.

It operates as an analog computer in that any pressure applied equally to both sides of the capsule will result in zero deflection.
