Pressure transmitter VB82

The Pressure transmitter VB82 is a robust, universal pressure sensor with an innovative, precisely mounted ceramic measuring cell. It is characterised by its thermal shock resistance and versatility and is suitable for temperatures up to 150 °C. The robust design and the use of a ceramic measuring cell make the sensor extremely resistant to overload situations. The pressure sensor can be used universally for measuring gases, vapours and liquids and can easily handle substances such as sand thanks to its abrasion-resistant ceramic measuring cell. It offers maximum reliability and can be used in all industries.

Although the Vegabar 82 is primarily used for absolute and relative pressure measurements, it can be used in combination with a second pressure measuring instrument from the VEGABAR series 80 to realise differential pressure measurements.

Area of application

This pressure sensor covers 80 % of all applications in the process industry. With its oil-free ceramic measuring cell, it is ideally equipped for use in all areas of industry, e.g. monitoring the delivery pressure in waste water pipes, overload-resistant level and overpressure measurement in batch tanks, level measurement of pulp in bleaching towers, protection against the extraction pump running dry, monitoring negative pressure (down to absolute vacuum) in distillation columns.
