Measuring Amplifier for STRAIN GAUGES (DMS)
Octogon’s measuring amplifiers are ideally suited for the universal signal processing of resistive strain gauge measuring bridges. They are used to amplify the mV sensor signal from force and strain sensors at control inputs. Two slots are provided on the board for assembly, which means that the measuring amplifier can be easily attached with two screws. This makes it possible to amplify the strain gage sensor signal into a robust standard signal (0-10 V or 4-20 mA) on site.

Typical areas of application for our miniature measuring amplifiers are, for example: test fields or measuring devices, servohydraulic and pneumatic control circuits, measurements on bridges or dams, towers, automobiles, elevators, railways, numerous monitoring devices, etc.

The measuring amplifier EPC from octogon converts the strain gauge signal of force sensors, load cells, torque sensors, pressure sensors and strain sensors into an analog output signal. The EPC measuring amplifier is delivered in an aluminium housing with connectors. If desired, the amplifier could also be integrated directly into any cable.
