Digital transmitter for load cells

The E-UDW digital load cell transmitter is a device specifically designed to convert analogue load cell signals (mV/V output) into digital data that can be easily interpreted by computers, PLCs ("Programmable Logic Controllers") or other digital control and monitoring systems. The transmitter's ability to work with existing load cells provides a flexible and cost-effective way to modernise existing weighing systems to prepare them for IoT (Internet of Things) applications.

A micro USB port allows a direct, physical connection between the device and a PC or laptop, providing a simple and reliable method for data exchange. The choice between direct mounting to the load cell housing with 1/4" thread or cable installation depends on several factors, including specific application requirements, environmental conditions and space constraints, and the decision between an IP76 stainless steel housing and a glass fibre reinforced nylon housing depends on the specific requirements of your application. Stainless steel is best suited for extremely harsh environments and applications that require maximum durability. The frequency of the weighing value calculation can reach up to 500 values per second, and the frequency of the fieldbus data update can reach the maximum speed of 500 updates per second when using the PROFINET, EtherNet/IP and EtherCAT buses.
