Compression force load cells are used to measure and where the installation space is very limited. These measuring cells are constructed in the shape of a bar, whereby the force is introduced centrally. Our compression force load cells are made of stainless steel, have protection class IP67 and a small deflection. There is a metallic spring body inside the compression force load cells that deforms under pressure. When the force decreases, the spring returns to its original position. A strain gage on the spring converts the deformation into electrical impulses.
