Torque sensors - Measuring shafts

Torque sensors resp. torque measuring shafts or torque transducer measure torques based on the strain gage technology. This makes measuring shafts suitable for reliable measurements of smaller static and dynamic torques on non-rotating and rotating components. The most common applications are found in assembly technology as well as for quality control in production and in the laboratory.

Typical applicattions

Torque sensors are used in marine, offshore, automotive, and aerospace engineering. Research and development facilities use them as well to perform dynamic and static torque monitoring and measurements. Measurement ranges lie between 0.01 nNm and 10 kNm.
