Shear Beam Load Cells
Shear beam load cells are mainly used for compressive forces.
Typical applications
The applications are primarily in belt scales, container scales, platform scales in the middle range, floor scales, silo scales, big bag scales, checkweighers or filling systems. Shear beam load cells are also suitable for torque and force measurement. For platform scales, several shear beam load cells are often connected in parallel.

Since shear beam load cells are mainly used in industrial weighing technology, they are built to be sturdy. Because of this, our shear beam load cells are mainly made of stainless steel with the corresponding protection class IP68. Important parameters are the nominal, breaking or limiting load. A parallel connection of several shear beam load cells can easily be implemented. Adjustment is no longer necessary, as most load cells are compatible with other models and manufacturers.
