Miniature force transducers with high accuracy and very small dimensions are used where compressive forces are to be measured and the installation space is very small. These measuring cells are constructed in the shape of a bar, whereby the force is introduced centrally. Our miniature force transducers are made of stainless steel, have protection class IP67 and a small deflection. There is a metallic spring body inside the compression force load cells that deforms under pressure. When the force decreases, the spring returns to its original position. A strain gage on the spring converts the deformation into electrical impulses.
